Mr. Shaw credits the partnership between teachers and the student鈥檚 parent for this success. 鈥淭he student鈥檚 mother never gave up,鈥� he says. 鈥淪he showed perseverance, love, and belief in her child鈥檚 potential. Together with our staff, she helped her child make real progress.鈥� 

Stories like this remind Mr. Shaw that success is built through teamwork. 鈥淲hen families and educators work together, students see that they are not alone,鈥� he says. 鈥淭hat sense of support can change everything.鈥� 

Recognizing Growth and Compassion 

Seventh-grade principal Ms. Cherisse Kaelin often reflects on the courage and dedication she sees in her students. 鈥淥ne story that stands out is about a fifth-grade student who was caring for younger siblings while attending class,鈥� she says. 鈥淗e was struggling to manage both school and family responsibilities, but he continued to show up every day and put in his best effort.鈥� 

Ms. Kaelin shares that with encouragement and structure, this student succeeded. 鈥淥ur team worked with him and his learning coach to build a plan that supported his needs,鈥� she says. 鈥淲atching him find confidence and balance reminded me of the strength our students have and the difference we can make when we meet them with understanding.鈥� 

Honoring Family Commitment 

TK and kindergarten principal Ms. Connie Wissner finds inspiration in the families who have been part of 蓝莓视频 for many years. 鈥淚 think of the Smiley family,鈥� she says. 鈥淭hey were with us for quite some time, and watching their journey through different grade levels was such a joy.鈥� 

Ms. Wissner loves seeing how parents and learning coaches grow right alongside their students. 鈥淭he dedication of families like theirs reminds me why we do what we do,鈥� she says. 鈥淭heir support helps students build confidence and find joy in learning.鈥� 

Ms. Wissner also makes a point to recognize achievements in personal ways. 鈥淚 send postcards to families to celebrate success,鈥� she says. 鈥淚t is important to let families know that we see their effort and that it matters.鈥� 

Moments that Matter 

Third-grade principal Ms. Lisa Magallanes shares that her favorite stories often come from simple classroom moments that show how far her students have come. 鈥淥ne student who was usually shy volunteered to lead the Pledge of Allegiance during a class meeting,鈥� she says. 鈥淭he smile on her face afterward was unforgettable. You could see how proud she felt.鈥� 

Ms. Magallanes says these moments are reminders of the growth that happens every day at 蓝莓视频. 鈥淪eeing students gain confidence and take initiative fills my heart with joy,鈥� she says. 鈥淚t shows that our teachers鈥� encouragement and care make a real impact.鈥�
